Hon. Sir/Madam,

Our central organisation ALL INDIA LOCO RUNNING STAFF ASSOCIATION [AILRSA], representating the loco running staff of Indian Railway, submitted memorandom to you your kind honour. Loco running staff means the employees i.e. ASSISTANT LOCO PILOT, SHUNTING LOCO PILOT, LOCO PILOT GOODS, LOCO PILOT PASSANGER AND LOCO PILOT MAIL, who are appointed to work the locomotive and trains in Indian Railway.

The commission has, in its first phase of interaction, been seeking the views of various stakeholders on its terms of reference. To this end, meetings have been held in Delhi with various organisations and heads of various agencies.

Visit to Leh/Laddakh

The programme of the 7th Central Pay Commission to Leh/Laddakh earlier scheduled from 15.09.2014 to 17 .09.2014 was cancelled due the havoc of rains.
This programme is now re-scheduled from 12 October 2014 to 16 October 2014.
